Popping Power wagon?

I was driving my WM300 to work today. It was running great and all of a sudden it just started popping going down the road. The more gas i give it the louder it gets. Its not overheating, oil pressure is good. The fan is not hitting the shroud. I dont think its the exhaust. Plug wires are on good.
