Not a ram assist. The stock steering box is the same for a D100, D200, W100, W200. I think the D300 is also the same, but I have a vague memory of there being some small difference on the D300. I think you can use a 1958 to 1960 steering box, but I have not tried that swap before and I am not sure if there are any pitfalls.

But I don't know if your setup was intended to have the stock box or not so I can't say if that is what you need.

Once things are on longer stock it is very hard to say what parts were used and what the interchange is on someone elses swap.
