I’m liquidating.
Hate to do it, but there comes a time...
No excuses offered (nor hopefully needed). Selling my 1947 WDX. LOTS of extra parts. I mean LOTS of extra parts! Probably enough to build another truck... or not. Also selling my 1951 Dodge M-37 (not running, valves sticking open), and, in case anyone here is interested, our 1965 MG Midget. If you’re used to working on Power Wagon parts, you’ll find working on this Midget hilarious! Everything in miniature! (The brake drums will fit in the palm of your hand!)
1947 – Runs, drives, stops. Small fuel tank in bed, gas tank removed ready for cleaning. Added the winch, as well as Warn Hubs. 20” wheels from Brian in CO. (Or you can opt for regular Budd wheels I have, powder coated red with silver rings, no tires mounted.) Wood bed kit (with stainless steel skid strips and hardware) from Mar-K still in the boxes. Needs all put together, or taken apart for the full restoration. Still 6-volt, but switched to negative ground. (Motorola two-way radio added back-in-the-day, I’m sure that’s why they switched it.) Pretty much an unmolested original VINTAGE Power Wagon.
M-37 – RAN WHEN PARKED! But then stopped running after I parked it. (See, most people forget to add that little blurb!) Nice “10 foot paint job”. (From ten-feet or further, it looks okay! Sprayed it quick for a parade a few years ago.) Hard top, troop seats w/top bows and canvas, nice canvas covered seats. And, as usual – enough extra parts to fill the bed of the truck!
1965 MG Midget – Nice little (and I do mean little) Roadster. It’s FUN... if you’re under 6’ and/or 300#s. Set of powder coated silver wire wheels with spin on hubs to swap out if you’d like. Some extra parts from a ’67 (doors, truck lid, numerous other parts.)
Offering here before I try the ol’ e-Pay, or craplist or... wherever. I’d like to see $10,000.00 for the Power Wagon and everything that goes with it, $4,000.00 for the M-37, and $4,500.00 for the MG. Everything is negotiable – to a point.
Please send me an e-mail, lots of photos to share.
