Look closely at this bed and you can see the body line on the outside shows up on the inside as well. The previous post shows the Studebaker bed with the same detail. Why would a double wall bed keep that detail? Why not make the inside wall flat?

I'll check the next Studebaker bed I find, but based on these images and my memory of the trucks I don't think they are double wall.
