Hot dip galvanizing is what they do for radio towers, boat trailers, etc. The spray can zinc I'd use to touch up a scratch but don't paint an entire trailer with it and expect to to hold up to hot dip galvanizing. If you get your parts hot dipped, they charge by the ounce... There is a place in Baltimore that has done some trailers and other steel parts for me.
Please beware though, if you heat the galvanizing with a torch or welder, the fumes are considered dangerous and supposedly will ruin your day.
