does not the 230 motor mount bracket bolt up to the lg bl--then could use a 230 bracket and respective rubber mount and weld or bolt half in. x one and a half steel plate by 3 in. on top of the flanges that bolt to the crossmember extended backwards the two inches needed to mate to the threaded holes in the crossmember
i think my 1946 236 lg bl has a 230 bracket and rubber mount
this would be a last case scenario if you can t find or make the 251 rubber mount, not to mention if i am correct in my idea that the 230 bracket will bolt to the 251
also what i don t know is if the bolt holes in the crossmember on a truck with a 251 are in the same place as a 230
