bolt a pc of plate on the bottow of the frame under the frong spring hanger bracket bolt thru where the rivets used to be and weld the upper part of the shackles to the plate and the old spring hanger bracket fixing the front spring between them and use two offset hangers using the old front rear spring hanger bracket to hang them off of in the rear
seems to me this will change the angle a tad, hopefully not enuff to matter and may raise the front a tad---i can stand to raise my front a tad as i have 22 bogie springs on the rear
curious what proff. op is on this scenario
not to mention i fertaned and painted with black chassis paint(no primer)
i washed thouruly fertaned with water and fertan sand paper wire brush etc. three times rensed and then fertaned once and all traces of rust color had turned black and my welder friend told me the last time don t wash off with water and paint with furtan let dry and paint as the black that takes place of the rust serves as a base coat lol---i only did the front part of the frame and the winch extentions this way-----------looks good to me how long it will hold is the million dollar question--there was still some black chasis paint on the frame i figure if it was good enuff for them it will be for me
