I recently purchased plugs for my 1960 dodge d100 flat head six engine. TP23 I was given the incorrect plugs they were to long I did not have an old one to go by. When I installed them and turned the engine over we heard a metal to metal sound and it locked up. I removed the plugs to discover they were crushed so in this diagram I found it shows the valve sets under the first plug, I removed the oil pan and found a broken cam shaft right under the 1st valve area about 4 inches long.Has anyone ever heard of this happening?here is the diagram. http://www.allpar.com/mopar/flat.html see for your self. Thanks what must I do now to fix it so it can run? Thanks Go Mopar 07/31/13
