LU2 winch separation

Finally got the LU2 winch off the W300 with a tip from Dennis Sherman: unbolt the hanger bearings from the truck frame. Worked great, LU2 came right out.

Next is to disconnect the PTO shaft. I'm guessing the the universal joint should come off the winch shaft? Any tips? Heat and hammer?
