1992 dodge diesel pu engine controller

last winter i had a problem with the engine controller u guys had a way of by passing it i didnt quite understand fortunately it started working again now it started again its not charging the tac,spedo n overdrive aren't working i am not sure they make the controller any more i think i am stuck any help would be greatly appreciated thanks mike
