I agree with you on all points in favor of the skid steer. But the skid steers I have found are 3 or more times the cost of a 4x4 tractor.
Ten years ago that wouldn't have made a difference. I was so busy it would have been easy to justify. But I was too busy to deal with it. Now the cash flow isn't so strong, and I need to make sure I can support my PW habit. I)
