Simplest way to pull the 251 motor?

I want to remove my 251. Is there a way to leave the clutch assembly, bell-housing, transmission in there and simply remove the engine. Or is it easier to pull the engine with the bellhousing attached. I tried removing my 230 from one of my parts trucks and the bell housing kept hitting the cab and wouldnt raise up enough to get rear mounts dislodged(i pulled the rear pins). Also the the clutch pedal assembly was kinda tough. I want to do it the easiest way possible.
