Have you ever put a vacume gauge on the intake manifold? I would try it running when it is cold, record the results and then do it hot after you get it running again. If you have a significant loss when it is hot then give it a compression test hot and cold to check the health of rings and valves.
Let us know what you find. If your pistons can't suck the fuel mixture into the combustion chamber the best fuel system in the world won't help.
