435 PTO Issue

The super good news is that I installed the 318 and 435 transmission in the 6x6 yesterday (pictures coming soon). The not-so-good news is that the passenger side PTO is very close to the front drive shaft :( Has anyone had to deal with this, or have any possible solutions? I'm considering installing taller axle bumpers on the front axle to keep the axle travel to a minimum. I will install the front drive shaft today to see how much (if any) clearance I have. I really want to use a PTO to power the hydraulic pump if possible, but I am willing to got to a power steering pump if I have to.
