A 4-53 would be too long and too heavy; 3-53 is better.
A 7.3 might squeeze in. Since the turbo is in the back up high it might even fit. But you'd want to replace the rear axle at least with a D70 or 14 bolt, with 4.88s. With a ZF 6spd (0.72:1 6th) top gear would be 3.50:1. 1900 rpm at 60 with 38.7s. 104 mph.
