I'm running a older Cummins 4BT (105hp, 2500rpm) with Ranger OD (0.73:1), the original NP420, 4.89 gears, and 900x16 Grip Spurs on a '53 M37.
I can run with Interstate traffic around town, and idle over obstructions off road...
I'll be able to give out actual performance figures when I get the correct drive tang for the new speedometer (DATCON programmable).
When I started my project, I had a guy tell me that I would be way under powered... He was running a new Dodge with the 6BTA and was looking to hop it up a bit. He can leave me behind at the stoplights, and on the open road, but he can't go as far back in the woods...
Email me if you have specific questions.
