All I have of old #62 is the chassis, engine, running gear, and ID tag. The truck runs fine, but I need the correct sheetmetal to restore it. The firewall on the early WDX's had some of the cut outs / punch outs for the military style wiring. I don't know what number WDX had the last of this type firewall for a correct restoration. They must have been from the ambulances or carryalls. Can you see me buying a carryall just to get the firewall?
I have an exceptional, complete, original '47 WDX that I brought to my first Rally at Fairfield in 1996. If I can't find the correct '46 sheetmetal, I might cannibalize it to restore #62.
