MB/GPW was 9 slot, CJ-2A was 7 slot

Ford designed the 9 slot stamped radiator grill used on the 1942-45 Willys MB & Ford GPW military jeeps, but Willys-Overland reduced the number of vertical slots from 9 to 7 when they replaced the small 5" diameter military headlights with the larger 7" diameter civilian headlights in the 1945-49 CJ-2A civilian jeep. So Ford did not design the 7 vertical slot radiator grill that apparently is the subject of the lawsuit.
