You are correct. I do have the article and pics of a canary yellow WDX-WM300 style PW that was in one of those late 80's edition 4x4 mags. It was the earlier smaller 50's hemi
engine but was not factory.It was such a well done job as to look factor but alas,a factory V-8 never happened. I would not rule out a factory test truck with V-8 but I doubt
it would have survived even if it had been created.
