I talked to the people at Braden Winch and they told me that the manual which mark cited on"Worm Gear winch installation, operation, and preventative maintenance manual" is on their web site at www.brandenwinche.com. It is there and seems to be the only one available. The Braden people say working on them is pretty straightforward (perhaps only for them) but I think I can try it. Thanks to all for the help.
