Door latches on WCs and PWs

I have a WC10 (Carryall) and am building a closed cab (both ½ tons) I find that the latches on the half dozen I have accumulated are nearly or completely worn out, especially on the driver's side. I am kicking around the idea of rebuilding or reproducing the latches. Is this a problem in the civilian PWs, or are they not the same? Is there a sufficient shortage to make it worth the effort? I'm not looking to make a living at it but would need to pay for the time.
