The tourists + camp owners are arriving now that spring is finally here in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains.This week I did 2 winch outs # 1 was a fella from Conn who was last at his camp in Nov.Camp is about 3 miles in off main road + he drove his fully loaded Chry min van FWD about 2 mi in till road was washed out from spring rains very bumpy + large boney rocks then tried to go around them + got hung up on stumps + bigger rocks. Had to back in the last half mi with my wrecker ran out 50 ft cable attached grade 8 chain + grab hooks to rear leaf springs to make v bridle jacked up RR with little floor jack to get off stump + blocked up with 4X4s I carry + reeled it in with plenty of moon lite + my rear spotlights.# 2 was a camp owner dumpin brush he loaded into his 2000 Dodge P/U 2WD + backed up a little 2 far into soft dirt on edge of property on little hill + then started to spin till he buried both back wheels to axle.Ran out about 80 ft of cable using 2 part line + snatch block used same grade 8 chain + grab hooks attaching to front sway bar at both sides of frame hung jacket on cable halfway between wrecker + P/U + reeled it in.Most likely will be a few more this weekend as it is raining today I call it job security
