these tires are made by Speciality Tires of
America here in the USA
their site shows 6.5x16 as the suggested rim
width which is different from the Universal
tire site
the old military pictures posted below show
tires fitted on WWII vehicles being tested
the gov opted to used non directional tires
on all their vehicles
the tires are a bit expensive for Bias ply
hoops
