New Seat Installation questions

Need to install a new seat into by B-3.
Found 2 seats; 1998 Dodge Dakota 60/40 seat and 1999 Ford Explorer bucket seats.
My questions are for anyone who has mounted late model seats:
How much work is it to mount either?
What has to be cut away on truck body or seat?
What has to be fabricated?
Any problems?
