I would love to know also where you get material. I could only find one brand name of brake lining adhesive on-line and when I went to buy some, I talked to sales reps all over the place who called their people and called me back until I concluded there simply wasn't any. I have a bunch of rolls of navy surplus brake lining material and clutch facing material I was hoping to use, event though it's probably not the ideal stuff for truck brakes, but I need the special glue to glue it on with, and I couldn't find anything. I could probably try the old 2-part resorcinol glue, clamp it together and bake it. That stuff seems to stick really well to steel and is good for high temperatures. But if you turn up a source of proper friction lining adhesive, I'd sure like to know about it.
