The brakes get bled on the average of once a year. I run at least a pint through the system during bleeding. I think the problem is that the bleeder screw is too high so once moisture lays in the bottom of the cylinder, it is there to stay. I also feel that brake fluid seeping past the cups increases the corrosion on the aluminum pistons. I have several cylinders where the bore is really not overly rusted or pitted, but the aluminum pistons have lost a substantial part of their skirt due to corrosion.
