That has become my stock answer for all the guys who try to tell me about their favorite alternative energy scheme. The nice thing about science is that everybody's ideas ultimately get judged by the laws of physics, which are impossible to BS. The funny thing is, the more they want to tell me about why their idea ought to work, and why the powers that be are repressing it, the less they want to actually go into the shop and build the damn thing.
