Hi Robert,
If you dont have the knob off, thats the first step. There is a button on the bottom(? or top?)of the body of the switch. It is spring loaded,maybe a quarter inch in diameter, push it and while holding it, pull the knob out. The shaft comes out with the knob. Then loosen the bezel and voila, the switch is out!
