Mud flaps on a WDX ? ? ?

It is a simple item. But what good ideas have you done for mud flaps on a WDX ? ?
It looks like 12" wide, but the interior is rounded to the outside, and it looks like you would bolt a flap to the outside of the fender, which looks a little tacky.
