What oil do ya'll use in your NP540 trannys?

Mine is due for a change I reckon. I have read everything from straight 50W motor oil to GL-5 gear lube, 80W-90, etc.
Mine is difficult to shift when outside temps are below 50 degrees, works great 70-above. My transmission is mid 70's version, if that matters. Can't find what the FSM says to use. Thanks
