Your hole hand can get sucked in and crushed when the piston reaches top dead center . There was this mechanic that had all the flesh stripped off his arm when he tried to put his finger over the hole , all that was left was the bones , a tendon and some of the muscle on the arm past the elbow .
I am amazed at some of the strange advice that comes out on the internut .
