4 cylinder turbo diesel conversion out of a bread box van - $1300 (wilton nh)
Up for sale is another project that I am not going to get to. This is a 4 cylinder turbo diesel out of a old delivery/bread van on a chevy/gmc one ton chassis. It comes with a turbo 350 automatic transmission and I think I have all the mounts to bolt up to a chevy/gmc frame. When I got the motor the guy said it needed the injection pump rebuilt, he said it ran then died. If it needed a pump it never would of fired plus I found a bunch of weather cracked fuel lines so your guess is as good as mine but I never got it in the van I wanted to convert. Well it's in the van but it's sitting in the cargo area not the engine bay. This motor would be great for anybody thinking of a diesel conversion for like a jeep, willys, or dodge M37 because that is essentially what it should be used for.
