I have used JB weld and once dry cleaned up the surface in a lathe and installed the speedy sleeve on top .
Mind you I have also tossed in a different crank and used loctite to hold the bearings in place in an engine that I had managed to spin a couple of bearing on .
Which is up there with the time I pumped silicon behind the axle gears to hold them in place - It worked for years .
