Keith has it right. Don't worry about getting it straight with the frame, work with what you have. Your gaps are what is going to set the pace. Make sure to allow for the welting if you are using it.
Get the the straightness of the gap first. Meaning the up and down lines. You need to get the cab and nose at the correct heights first, then worry about twisting them to get the amount of gap per side as equal as possible.
On the bright side, at least yours WAS once in close. Imagine trying to do it from scratch. I must have had my cab on and off a 100 times as one thing effects another when trying for the final positions of the mounts.
Be patient and think about what your doing. You'll get there.
