Chrysler was filling all their new diesels with 5% biodiesel when they left the factory. This was part to demonstrate their support for domestic fuel and part, because even a low blend of biodiesel ensures optimum lubricity, which they valued during break-in.
It was also convenient for them when they were building Ram trucks in St. Louis. I don't know if they do that for the Mexican-built trucks. Don't know if they can get good biodiesel in Mexico?
Starting in 2011, Ford put a 20% biodiesel logo on the door of all the Superduty trucks. Prior to that, they were only supporting B5.
