I have a 71 Dodge pickup that spent most of it's life in the California desert and all of it in (it never rains in)Southern California. It has rust in the door corners and a few rust through spots in the floor boards. The floor board rust was caused by the rubber mat and the door rust by dirt trapped in the corners.
