I had a trailer tire go flat, thought it was just a nail, turned out to be a nail, split tread, and cords separating and sticking out in another treat slit. These were Load range E tires I installed back in late Spring of 2010. The tires had plenty of tread left, and I always kept them aired upto 80 PSI.
Guess just crappy tires, Power King LT Radial Highway?
The only new Tire I could get is also a Power King, but a Solid Trac Radial Trailer, TRR in Load range G (Same size 235/85R16). http://powerkingtires.com/Tires/Trailer/LT%20Radial%20Trailer/311
Anyone have any experience with these Solid Trac Radial Power King Tires?
My trailer is kept inside and out of the sun, and show no dry rotting, but the other three are showing cracks/slits between the tread, so I'll be replacing them soon.
