I had to have mine from my '67 W200 straightened. Anytime you weld on a rear axle you WILL warp it unless you have it in a jig of some type and even then it may go out of whack some. This according to Rod @ Axlemasters near Clackamas, OR. They are the ones that did the work on mine.
