I put Seat/Shoulder belts in all my old iron. I would not drive them without. With that said; The B Post offers no way to safely anchor a shoulder belt in the tin construction.
On my Power Wagon and Carryall, over the top of the B Post, I cut a neat opening in the roof with plasma. I then dropped in a piece of .500" x 2.00" stock, inside the B Post to the floor. Its welded in place. I then put the piece I cut out back in and welded her.
You never know its been done.
Now I have a reasonably good point at shoulder height for the seat belt anchor.
In my opinion, its worth the work.....it could save my life.
