No i can only assume because driving it its backfiring out of the carburetor. Ive built a few different trucks but never delt with timing. I always got someone else to do it for me. I replaced the timing chain the prior one was very loose and may have even jumped time because the dots weren't lined up i don't think. (Prior Owner)
So after i get it started: what are the necessities to getting all tuned in? I had VPW rebuild my carb so i know it will need idle adjustment, but also ill probably need to move my distributor back and fourth til i find a good place for it. What else? I read some tuning specs on BEST of the forum.
