Doing a decent paint job is exceptionally expensive and labor intensive. A cheap paint job will actually reduce the value of the truck.
An expensive paint job is not worthwhile unless the rest of the truck has been upgraded to match.
My advice, buy the paint job you want. In other words, if the paint job on the truck you are getting is not good enough for you, the truck is not the right one for you unless you are just bent on doing a full restoration.
