Crank flywheel spacer update.

I mic'ed the bad LA 318 crank this morning. The crank flange measured .420" thick. So, it would work as a spacer, if it didn't have the "notch" in it. Does anyone know if the poly crank flange is solid, or has the notch that the LA cranks have? If it doesn't, then that means I'm going to have to dig up an old Poly crank. THAT ought to be fun. I wonder how much this is going to end up costing me...
