Liberal politicians are all about increasing the number of local, state and federal workers, so as to ensure loyal voters for them.
We saw this in the last election down here, along with voters who wanted hand-outs turning out in huge numbers for left leaning politicians.
Efficiency and cost containment are not a worry to these people.
People complain about the costs of government and the tax rate, then vote in people who want to increase it. Makes no sense whatsoever.
