I agree with GMHarris, do a shake down with her first. If the noise and slower speed does not bother her, then go for it.
I trailered mine out last year from the mid-atlantic area; wife enjoyed the comfort of the modern PU. She did not mind the little rides in the PW once in Iowa - they were fun.
