I work with a guy who has a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 4.7 V8. He says that the whole time he has owned the truck that there has been a tapping sound somewhere in one of the heads. In the past a Lythia dealer has told him that it's normal. Now a different dealer is telling him that it's in the block. Since the truck is still covered by the warranty, the dealer is going to replace the block. Have you heard of anything like this?
