I was driving out some back roads out in the hills in California once and came upon an abandoned open-pit asbestos mine. There was a huge warning sign saying to keep out, but the gate had been opened and there were a bunch of guys riding around in the pit on dirt bikes in a big cloud of dust. I don't recall seeing any sort of dust masks on them. Maybe they figured when they got lung cancer they could sue the owner of the pit for not putting up a better fence.
