imo the aluminum head does no more than planing a stock head. A stock planed head will not have the associated metal incompatibility issues and is less likely to strip out. plane a stock head and spend 1600 balancing the rotating assembly and changing out the orig cam to the isky one designed for the flattie. split a stock exhaust and find a 2 bbl stock car manifold. all cast iron, all durable, all cheaper....
