Everyone has there own idea of which model is most valuable. Personally I prefer the 46 WDX the best. I like the gauges the best, I prefer the flush grill to the 251 nose, I prefer the early bed & I haven't ever noticed a substantial increase in power with the 251 engine.
I also like that it's the first year.
That said, I also like the 68 WM300 with it being the last year available in North America. The dual master cylinder is a huge improvement so I think that happened in about 65.
I love them all...I don't believe there is any difference in value between any of the 46-68's, regardless of your preference...from my experience anyway.
