Chroming anything pitted is very expensive Joe.
Usually chrome shops just put several layers of copper plating to build up the surface & then just keep buffing it down...very similar to bodywork.
As you can imagine, it's very labor intensive.
I've seen filling done with solder as well but no matter which way you do it, probably $250ish, like perry says.
Why not paint them off white?
Certainly a cheaper alternative anyway.
