Last night I was putting a timing chain on my 251. It was late and I was tired. I was putting the last bolt on the large timing gear and I over torqued it and the female threads of the cam stripped out. What is the best way to deal with this issue?
Also Should I be putting locktite on these bolts since they spin at so many revolution per minute? Thirdly is the crank belt pulley the same on the 230 ci and the 251? I may need a donor off one of my part trucks.
